Strategic AI Value Engineer

Job summary

Celonis is seeking an Applied Value Engineer to diagnose customer challenges and design tailored AI-driven use cases on the Celonis platform. You will demonstrate business impact to executives and drive value realization across strategic accounts.

In this role you will own discovery, AI solutioning, PoV execution, and end-to-end value delivery, leveraging domain expertise in processes like supply chain and finance, and deploying production ML/LLMOps across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Executive-Facing Presales & Value Engineering (2+ years): experience supporting AI transformation narratives and PoV execution.
• Domain & Industry Expertise: knowledge of core business processes and landscapes (e.g., supply chain, finance).
• Software/Data Engineering: Python, API design, SQL, data integration, and ML/AI libraries (PyTorch, TF, scikit-learn, XGBoost, HF Transformers).
• Agentic AI Systems: experience with LLM orchestration, tool calling, RAG, agents, and prompt engineering.
• Production ML/LLMOps: model deployment, monitoring, MLOps/LLMOps across cloud services (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, GCP Vertex AI).
• AI Architecture & Security: cloud architectures, identity, data governance, privacy, and compliance.
• Math & Operations Research: linear/nonlinear optimization, statistics, reinforcement learning, forecasting is a plus.
• Strong presentation skills to executives; flawless English; Dutch preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Discovery & AI Solutioning: translate requirements into flawless project execution and prototype bespoke AI solutions.
• AI Solution Development: end-to-end PoV projects; deliver secure, scalable AI systems with RAG and tool usage.
• Value Selling & Realization: maintain technical advisory involvement to ensure value and adoption thresholds.
• Domain & Industry Specialization: build industry-specific end-to-end solutions and reusable assets.
