Job summary

Overstory is seeking a Staff Technical Recruiter to build our team and scale our technical hiring in a fast-growing climate tech company. You will own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, partnering with leaders from role design through sourcing, interviewing and offers.

You'll join a senior People team, shape recruiting motion across time zones, build pipelines, use data to optimize outcomes, and act as a culture ambassador for mission-driven builders worldwide.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-growth tech startups.
• Proven track record closing hard-to-find technical talent such as ML engineers.
• Experience hiring across international remote-first environments.
• Proactive, data-driven, and trusted partner influencing hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles from role definition to sourcing, interviewing and offers.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership to shape role requirements and hiring strategies.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through creative sourcing and networking.
• Guide candidates through a thoughtful interview process across teams and time zones.
• Build scalable recruiting systems, processes, branding and networks as we scale.
• Use data and feedback to continuously optimize hiring practices and outcomes.
• Act as culture ambassador, attracting mission-driven builders who reflect Overstory's values.
• Support the people team across the lean, fast-paced environment.
