Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer in Amsterdam to own the technical pre-sales and implementation for complex enterprise engagements. You will translate business requirements into solution designs and orchestrate cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes from pre-sales through go-live and optimization.

This role is based in Amsterdam with 3 days in the office and implementation coverage across EMEA, focusing on API integrations and scalable

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
• 8+ years of client-facing delivery or professional services experience.
• Proven track record delivering cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical pre-sales and implementation of Airwallex solutions for complex client engagements.
• Turn agreed business requirements into solution designs and actionable plans, orchestrating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Work with sales teams on technical discovery to understand customer systems, data flows, and workflows, and recommend a best-fit integration blueprint (APIs and connectors).
• Troubleshoot integration hurdles and guide complex configuration decisions, designing robust, maintainable implementations rather than coding.
• Create and maintain internal documentation, playbooks, and lightweight tooling to support integration-heavy use cases at scale.
• Channel customer pain points and integration feedback into Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and feature prioritisation.
