Job summary

Super is seeking a Staff Software Engineer / Staff Platform Engineer to join our platform area in Europe. You will help build foundations for scalable, reliable systems used across products.

You’ll lead incidents, drive postmortems, and define reliability roadmaps while mentoring senior engineers and shaping architecture. Strong Go, AWS, Kubernetes and observability experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Proven incident leadership with postmortems and systemic improvements.
• Hands-on experience with observability stacks (metrics, logs, traces).
• Strong Go engineering background with AWS and Kubernetes expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response end-to-end and drive postmortems.
• Build and improve monitoring, alerting, and tracing reflecting customer impact.
• Own reliability roadmap and coordinate fixes across teams.
• Set technical direction through design reviews, RFCs, and pairing.
