Job summary

Qualifications

For one of our clients, a rapidly scaling SaaS company based in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help design, automate, and evolve the cloud infrastructure that powers its growing product ecosystem.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building platforms rather than simply maintaining them. You'll work at the heart of the engineering organisation, creating the tooling, automation, and infrastructure that enable development teams to deploy faster, operate more reliably, and scale with confidence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and maintaining cloud-native platform infrastructure
• Building automation to reduce operational overhead
• Improving deployment, monitoring, and reliability processes
• Supporting engineering teams with scalable platform tooling
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code best practices
• Driving platform performance, security, and resilience initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles
• Strong experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Hands‑on Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or similar tools
• Deep understanding of cloud‑native architectures and modern deployment practices
• Experience supporting engineering teams at scale

Bonus Experience

• Observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
