XpertDirect is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer in Amsterdam to help design and automate the cloud infrastructure powering their SaaS products. The role focuses on improving deployment processes and creating automation tools for engineering teams.

Ideal candidates have over 5 years of experience in platform engineering, proficient in Kubernetes and Terraform, and enjoy building scalable infrastructures. Joining XpertDirect offers high technical ownership and a chance to influence development practices.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.

For one of our clients, a rapidly scaling SaaS company based in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to help design, automate, and evolve the cloud infrastructure that powers its growing product ecosystem.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building platforms rather than simply maintaining them. You'll work at the heart of the engineering organisation, creating the tooling, automation, and infrastructure that enable development teams to deploy faster, operate more reliably, and scale with confidence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and maintaining cloud-native platform infrastructure
• Building automation to reduce operational overhead
• Improving deployment, monitoring, and reliability processes
• Supporting engineering teams with scalable platform tooling
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code best practices
• Driving platform performance, security, and resilience initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles
• Strong experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Hands‑on Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or similar tools
• Deep understanding of cloud‑native architectures and modern deployment practices
• Experience supporting engineering teams at scale

Bonus Experience

• Observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
