Job summary

Pearl Abyss Europe in Amsterdam seeks a Spanish-speaking Live-Service Game Master to oversee daily live operations for Europe. You will bridge players and devs, monitor service health, design events, and coordinate with Community and Support teams.

You will work across Black Desert, Crimson Desert, and upcoming titles like DokeV and PLAN 8, ensuring a high-quality live experience and proactive response to incidents, patches, and player feedback.

Qualifications

• Native or bilingual fluency in Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Extensive gameplay experience and deep domain knowledge of MMORPGs.
• Familiarity with the technical architecture and operational workflows of live-service online games.
• Proven track record of direct interaction with online gaming communities.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Live Operations Management: Execute daily operational workflows to ensure continuous high-quality service.
• Maintenance & Deployment Support: Assist with routine server maintenance and content updates.
• Issue Monitoring & Reporting: Track live-service performance and report to stakeholders.
• Incident Response & Communication: Manage real-time incidents and draft player notices.
• Event Planning & Execution: Design and schedule weekly/monthly in-game events.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Live-Ops, Customer Support, and Community Managers.
• Game Mastery & Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on patches and systems.
• Exploit & Bug Investigation: Investigate and document critical issues.
• Support Escalations: Review and investigate escalated tickets.
