Job summary
Pearl Abyss, the team behind Black Desert and Crimson Desert, is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across Live-Ops, Community, Localization, Marketing, Product Management, and Public Relations in Europe.
You will lead a global, cross-functional team, own live-service plans, monitor KPIs, manage incidents, and ensure growth for Black Desert, Crimson Desert, and upcoming titles DokeV and PLAN 8.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in live game operations, product management, or production.
- Professional-level fluency in English (written and verbal) with exceptional corporate communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Deep technical knowledge of online game live services, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage and mentor a team of Live Operations managers, coordinators, and specialists.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between Europe and global HQ across time zones.
- Create and execute live service operational plans and post-mortem analyses.
- Monitor KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
- Own end-to-end project delivery from inception to execution.
- Lead incident management and post-incident reviews under pressure.
