Job summary

Corendon Hotels & Resorts is seeking a passionate Sous Chef for The Dean Restaurant at The College Hotel, Autograph Collection by Marriott in Amsterdam. You will support the Head Chef, lead the kitchen team, and mentor students in a stylish, dynamic hospitality setting.

You will oversee daily operations in The Dean and Bar & Bistro, ensure food quality and cost control, and contribute to menu development with seasonal concepts, while delivering a WOW guest experience every day.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Sous Chef.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Creative menu development and seasonal offerings.
• Strong organizational and inventory management abilities.
• Solid knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and students.
• Work in The Dean Restaurant and Bar & Bistro.
• Ensure daily operations meet brand and service standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver guest experiences.
• Mentor students and interns to develop professional skills.
• Guide menu development with creative ideas and seasonal products.
