Leonardo Hotels Benelux in Vinkeveen is looking for a proactive Shift Leader for our Banqueting team. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional events, ensuring every detail is perfectly executed while leading your team.

Responsibilities include coordinating workflows, supporting team members, and assisting with service in other departments as needed. You will need to be flexible with your availability, including evenings and weekends, and you’ll find growth opportunities and competitive pay awaiting you.

About The Job

As a Shift Leader in our Banqueting team, you play a key role in delivering exceptional meetings, celebrations, and events for our guests. You ensure that every room is set up perfectly according to the event requirements, and you lead your team in creating a seamless experience from start to finish. Preparation is essential in this role. You make sure every detail is arranged, every setup is correct, and every team member knows their responsibilities. During events, you coordinate the workflow, support your colleagues, and step in where needed to keep everything running smoothly. When the event schedule allows, you also assist other departments such as breakfast, lunch, or dinner service. You are proactive, organized, and confident in managing both your time and your team. Planning, communication, and leadership come naturally to you.

Job Requirements

• You have experience in hospitality, banqueting, or a similar operational leadership role.
• You bring energy and enthusiasm, motivating your team to deliver outstanding service.
• You are proactive, hands‑on, and a strong team player who leads by example.
• You communicate clearly and confidently in Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).
• You are flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
