Job summary

JDE Peet's in Utrecht is seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist to join the Digital & Technology team. You will design, build and optimise SFMC solutions, including Email Studio, Journey Builder and Automation Studio, to support personalised customer engagement across our global markets.

As part of a DevOps scrum team, you will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, monitor campaign performance and drive data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Contact Builder.
• Strong SQL skills and experience integrating Marketing Cloud with other platforms and leveraging personalization capabilities.
• Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate marketing requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, including email campaigns, customer journeys, automations and audience segmentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate marketing requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions.
• Monitor campaign performance and analyse customer engagement data to identify opportunities for optimisation and improved business outcomes.
• Manage and optimise marketing data models, data extensions and SQL-based processes to ensure high-quality, actionable customer data.
• Implement and support integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and platforms such as Salesforce core, SAP and other technologies, also API based.
• Contribute to platform stability, continuous improvement and agile delivery by supporting releases, incident management and adoption of SFMC best practices.
