Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist (Salesforce) to join the Digital & Technology team in Utrecht. You will design, build and optimize SFMC-driven campaigns and data models to enable personalized customer engagement across our global markets in a DevOps environment.

This hands-on role requires strong SQL, AMPScript and HTML/CSS skills, collaboration with product owners and stakeholders, and a passion for turning data into measurable business value through scalable marketing

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Contact Builder.
Passion for combining technology, data and marketing to create personalised customer experiences and drive measurable business impact.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
Strong analytical mindset to interpret campaign performance and translate insights into optimization opportunities.
Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
Strong SQL skills and experience managing marketing data, segmentation and audience targeting; experience integrating SFMC with other platforms; AMPScript and HTML/CSS.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, including email campaigns, customer journeys, automations and audience segmentation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate marketing requirements into scalable & reliable technical solutions.
Monitor campaign performance and analyze engagement data to identify opportunities for optimization and improved outcomes.
Manage and optimize data models, data extensions and SQL-based processes for high-quality customer data.
Implement and support integrations between SFMC and platforms such as Salesforce Core, SAP and APIs; ensure platform stability and best practices.
