As a ServiceNow Integration Architect, you will:
- Own the architecture and design approach for integrations from enterprise source systems into ServiceNow.
- Define end-to-end integration strategies for data ingestion from platforms such as Splunk, Zabbix, Flexera, SCCM, and NetBox.
- Design integration patterns supporting CMDB, asset, event, monitoring, discovery, and operational use cases.
- Define source-system responsibilities, data ownership, target CI models, reconciliation logic, and transformation standards.
- Lead technical design for secure, scalable, and maintainable integration flows.
- Guide developers on implementation standards for APIs, Import Sets, IntegrationHub, scripted integrations, and MID Server usage.
- Ensure rights separation, data segregation, and access control requirements are incorporated into integration designs.
- Assess source data quality and completeness and establish appropriate data quality controls.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 8+ years of professional experience in ServiceNow integration architecture and enterprise integrations.
- Deep experience integrating multiple source systems with ServiceNow using APIs, IntegrationHub, Import Sets, MID Server, event pipelines, and scheduled or batch integrations.
- Extensive practical experience with platforms such as Splunk, Zabbix, Flexera, SCCM, NetBox, Datadog, Active Directory, vCenter, and Azure.
- Strong understanding of CMDB, CSDM, ITOM, Event Management, Discovery, and CI lifecycle principles.
- Hands-on expertise in integration security, credential handling, error management, observability, performance tuning, and supportability.
- Strong knowledge of Java and REST Web Services.
- Experience with data mapping, payload transformation, reconciliation, normalization, duplicate prevention, and data quality controls.
- Experience designing scalable integration architectures for multi-team and multi-domain ServiceNow environments.
You should possess the ability to:
- Define source-of-truth principles, reconciliation rules, normalization patterns, and target data models for ServiceNow.
- Design secure, scalable, and maintainable integration architectures.
- Develop effective data mapping and transformation strategies.
- Identify and resolve data quality, duplication, and integration issues.
- Design appropriate authentication, scheduling, retry handling, logging, monitoring, and support procedures.
