Job summary

Huxley is seeking a Service Designer (Developer Experience / Platform Engineering) to shape the end-to-end developer journey across the platform. You will map discovery through operation for 800+ engineers, partnering with the Design Lead to create living artifacts and prioritize improvements.

On offer is a role that combines interviews, workshops, persona refinement, and governance, with service blueprints built in Miro and strong collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Service Design experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder and user interviews with engineers, engineering managers, and product owners.
• Facilitate journey mapping and service blueprint workshops.
• Map lifecycle phases: Discover, Onboard, Plan, Develop, Test, Deploy, Operate.
• Synthesize findings into insight boards, affinity maps, and opportunity areas.
• Build and maintain service blueprints in Miro.
• Refine and validate personas such as: Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, Product Owner, Tech Lead, AI Agent, External Partner, CIRT Responder.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Train product specialists in research and interview techniques.
• Collaborate closely with the Design Lead on priorities, governance, and alignment.
