Job summary

Huxley is seeking an experienced UX Designer to shape the Platform Engineering experience for internal tools and portals. You will translate research into cohesive design concepts, define reusable UI patterns, and create prototypes validated with engineers.

Join a small, embedded team focusing on coherence across the platform product portfolio, collaborating closely with the Design Lead, Service Designer, and product teams in an Agile environment. Fluent English required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in UX/Product Design with end-to-end projects.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills from sketch to high‑fidelity prototype.
• Experience designing complex, data‑rich interfaces (dashboards, admin tools, developer‑facing products).
• Systems thinking and ability to create coherent experiences across multiple products.
• Experience in agile, cross‑functional teams with engineers and product owners.
• Experience designing developer tools, internal platforms, or B2B/enterprise products is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with design systems (building or contributing to them).
• Tools: Figma, Miro, Design with AI.
• Self-driven and proactive.
• Pragmatic in choosing fidelity level for each design stage.
• Collaborative approach with research and product teams.
• Fluent English

Responsibilities

• Translate insights and user research into design concepts and experience visions for platform products (developer portals, onboarding flows, service catalogues, dashboards).
• Establish shared design patterns across fragmented platform products.
• Design AI agent interaction patterns and future-state experiences.
• Create prototypes to validate concepts with engineers.
• Support stakeholder alignment through visual artefacts that make the future tangible.
• Iterate designs with fast cycles in collaboration with the Service Designer and product teams.
• Review research findings and journey maps to identify design opportunities.
• Create design concepts and prototypes for platform experiences (portals, onboarding, dashboards, service catalogues).
• Define and document reusable UI patterns and design system components for internal tools.
• Conduct usability testing and design validation sessions with engineers.
• Present design rationale and concepts to Senior Product Owners and engineering leads.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback in fast, pragmatic cycles.
