Job summary

Amgen Breda seeks a Senior Technical Operator to ensure stability and performance of highly automated lines in a GMP environment. You will act as the technical expert on the line, supporting operational excellence and team capability across assembly, labeling and packing processes.

You will operate and optimize equipment, perform changeovers, and lead advanced troubleshooting while collaborating with quality and maintenance to address deviations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in highly regulated automated production environments.
• Proven SME and/or trainer experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Familiarity with SAP/MES and CI methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and optimize automated production equipment
• Perform set-ups and change-overs
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Identify deviations with quality and maintenance and support triage activities
• Act as SME and first contact for technical escalations
• Analyze and interpret process data using SAP/MES systems
• Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
• Support, coach and train team members, strengthening line capability
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all production activities

Senior Technical Operator (Multiple Roles)

What You Will Do

As a Senior Technical Operator for automated lines, you play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of highly automated assembly, Labeling & Packing production systems within a GMP-regulated environment. You act as the technical expert on the line, supporting both operational excellence and team capability.

• Operate, monitor, and optimize automated production equipment
• Perform set-ups and change-overs
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis (e.g., RCA, 5WHY)
• Identify and elevate deviations where required in collaboration with quality and maintenance and support triage activities
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and first point of contact for technical escalations
• Analyze and interpret process data using SAP/MES systems
• Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma)
• Support, coach and train team members, strengthening overall line capability
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all production activities

What We Expect From You

• MBO+ or equivalent technical education
• Minimum 7 years of experience in highly regulated automated production environments
• Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and/or trainer
• Advanced troubleshooting and analytical capabilities
• Familiarity with SAP/MES systems and CI methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma)
• High level of ownership, accountability, and structured way of working
• Willingness to work in shifts
