Job summary

Talentmark is seeking an Equipment Operator for our pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Breda, Netherlands. You will operate and monitor semi-automated production lines, perform changeovers, and keep production data in SAP/MES.

Technical Operator | Breda | 3 & 5 Shifts
Do you have experience working with production equipment and enjoy solving technical problems? As a Technical Operator, you are responsible for keeping semi-automated production lines running safely, efficiently and according to strict quality standards.

Our client is a large international biotech company in Breda. At this location, medicines are labelled, assembled, stored and shipped to countries around the world.

What will you do?
As a Technical Operator, you make sure the production line keeps performing. You operate and monitor semi-automated equipment and take action when a process or machine does not perform as expected.
Your responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring semi-automated production lines
• Performing line set‑ups and product changeovers
• Carrying out line cleaning and line clearances
• Identifying and troubleshooting process disturbances
• Restoring production performance after disruptions
• Performing minor technical adjustments and equipment maintenance
• Recording and checking production data in SAP/MES
• Supporting deviation management and triage activities
• Investigating recurring issues and contributing to root‑cause analysis
• Supporting Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring safe, compliant and efficient production

The role therefore goes beyond simply operating a machine: you actively analyse problems and help improve the reliability and performance of the production process.

What do we expect from you?
You combine technical understanding with a hands‑on and problem‑solving mindset.
We are looking for someone who has:

• MBO education and/or a technical background
• Experience within an automated or semi‑automated production environment
• Preferably experience with assembly, labelling and/or packaging equipment
• Good technical and process understanding
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working according to standard procedures and work instructions
• Familiarity with root‑cause techniques such as RCA or 5WHY
• Preferably experience in a GMP‑regulated production environment
• Familiarity with SAP and/or MES systems
• Interest in Lean, continuous improvement or process optimisation
• Fluent English
• Willingness to work in both 3- and 5‑shift schedules
