Job summary

Amgen Breda is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead (5‑Shifts) to guide a small team on the shop floor. You’ll lead by example, plan maintenance activities, and coordinate with Production, Engineering and Quality to keep critical equipment running safely and reliably.

This hands‑on leadership role combines technical expertise with coaching to develop your team, drive ownership, and foster a high‑performing culture in a GMP‑driven manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Technical background in maintenance (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics).
• Proven experience in leading, coaching, or mentoring maintenance technicians.
• Hands-on leadership style; lead by example on the shop floor.
• Strong communication skills and coaching mindset.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment; GMP experience is a plus.
• Ability to work a 5-shift roster.

• Creating a safe, engaged, and high-performing team culture.

What you will do

As one of our hands‑on maintenance team leads, you play a key leadership role on the shop floor in your shift. You combine technical expertise with a passion for coaching, developing, and guiding people. This is a position where your impact is felt through coordination, team performance and technical expertise.

In this role, you are the shift lead for a team of 3-4 maintenance technicians. You are visible on the floor, work hands‑on when needed, and create an environment where your team can perform, grow, and take ownership. You will collaborate closely with the other maintenance Team Leads from the other shifts to ensure alignment and continuity.
