Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for the BeneluxGeo team to lead technical engagements and own discovery, solution design, and platform demonstrations. You will work with customers to expand Databricks footprint and build strategic partnerships while collaborating with an Account Executive.

You are a builder who codes, architects, and presents, combining deep technical skills with customer-facing excellence to drive adoption.

Qualifications

Industry experience in data engineering, solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or a hands-on consulting role (3+ years preferred).
Proficient in Python and SQL with production-quality code; live coding is an interview stage.
Hands-on data solutions on at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of distributed data systems such as Spark or Delta Lake.
Experience leading technical customer conversations and architecture reviews.
Strong presentation and demo skills and a relevant degree.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads across data engineering, analytics, ML, and GenAI engineering.
Build and deliver proofs-of-concept and live demos on the Databricks Platform to win technical buy-in.
Own frontline technical relationships with customer engineers and data teams.
Develop account-level technical strategies with the Account Executive to grow platform usage.
Navigate competitive landscapes with hands-on demonstrations and reusable assets.
