Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering or solutions architecture (3+ years preferred).
• Proficient in Python and SQL with production‑quality code.
• Experience designing data solutions on at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of distributed data systems: Spark, Delta Lake, or equivalents.
• Experience leading technical customer conversations — discovery, whiteboarding, architecture reviews.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for customer workloads.
• Build and deliver proofs-of-concept and live demos on the Databricks Platform.
• Own frontline technical relationships with customer engineers and data teams.
• Develop account-level technical strategies with the Account Executive to grow platform usage.
• Articulate Databricks differentiation through hands-on demonstrations.
• Contribute reusable technical assets (notebooks, accelerators, reference architectures).
