Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect in the Benelux Strategic Accounts team to drive the technical strategy for customers, own architecture discussions, and advocate for platform adoption.

You will lead complex, scalable data/ML/real-time analytics solutions on public clouds, partner with delivery teams, and influence product direction while communicating business value to technical and executive audiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical role.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding, debugging, and solution-building skills.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture, pipelines, streaming, lakehouse patterns.
• Proficiency with the Databricks Platform and a developing technical specialization.
• Experience leading architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders.
• Production deployments on public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) including security/governance.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative discipline (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy with customer accounts from discovery to deployment and growth.
• Lead complex architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineers, and Directors.
• Drive technical wins by demonstrating Databricks differentiation through custom solutions.
• Develop emerging technical specialization and be a go-to resource for the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions for complex needs.
• Influence product direction by providing feedback on requirements and gaps.
