Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Fungible Solutions Architect for the Amsterdam area within the Field Engineering org. You will lead the technical strategy on time-boxed engagements, driving platform adoption and customer wins. Expect hands-on work with Python/SQL and deep cloud data experience across AWS/Azure/GCP.

You will own architecture discussions, design scalable, production-grade solutions, and coordinate with senior stakeholders to translate architecture into business value.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in solutions architecture or similar senior technical roles (~6+ years).
• Hands-on coding ability in Python and SQL, able to build and demonstrate working solutions live.
• Deep knowledge of distributed data systems and production cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with the Databricks Platform and ability to ramp on new technology quickly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy on time-boxed engagements and drive platform adoption.
• Design scalable, production-grade data solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics; lead reviews with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrate Databricks differentiation through custom-built solutions in must-win scenarios.
• Package progress for smooth hand-off to core teams to sustain and expand wins.
