Job summary

Databricks in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead technical strategy for Benelux Strategic Accounts. You will own architecture discussions, drive platform adoption, and advise customer technical leads on scalable, production-grade solutions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.

You will be a trusted advisor, building a developing technical specialisation and orchestrating cross-functional resources to meet complex customer needs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales or senior hands-on role.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL with live coding and debugging skills.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture (pipelines, streaming, lakehouse).
• Experience deploying production workloads on public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy with customer accounts from discovery to production deployment.
• Lead complex architecture discussions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Advise customer architects, engineering leads and Directors on technical direction.
• Drive platform adoption and consumption growth within accounts.
• Contribute to product direction with feedback on requirements and gaps.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions.
