Job summary

Essense Service Design in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Service Designer to give the customer, business and society a voice in the design process. You will help clients work customer-centrically to optimise services and customer experience, creating holistic value beyond aesthetics.

You are a strong facilitator, able to translate insights into opportunities and concepts that teams can implement, and you will shape propositions with stakeholders across client organisations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Service, Industrial or Interaction Design.
• 6+ years of relevant agency experience.
• Ability to translate insights into opportunities and concepts.
• Strong portfolio showing outcomes across projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Map insights across the customer experience.
• Make complex information visual and accessible within client organisations.
• Translate insights into opportunities, concepts and solutions.
• Co-create with stakeholders to shape propositions and service concepts.
• Orchestrate backstage processes and frontstage touchpoints for end-to-end service.
• Handover concepts to UX/UI designers.
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions.
• Be a thought partner, sharing CX market awareness.
• Inspire colleagues and advance Essense and clients through craft and vision.
