Job summary

A boutique recruitment firm in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join their Private Equity team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in 360 agency recruitment and be bilingual in English and Dutch. This role offers an excellent commission structure and unlimited holiday, along with opportunities for quick growth into senior roles and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Who are we working with?

The Permanent People team are working on behalf of a boutique, innovative firm in the recruitment industry. Our client is based in central Amsterdam and are known for their bespoke consultative style, which has earnt them a brilliant reputation within the industry. They focus on mid‑senior level positions in the Banking, PE Portfolio, Investment Management and FinTech markets.

With 3 offices, they have a diverse team of individuals across their business. In Amsterdam they have a knit team of 4 who are looking to expand in the next year. This is an exciting time for our client and the people joining now will have the opportunity to develop into senior and leadership roles.

What does the role entail?

Our client is looking for a talented recruiter to join their ambitious team in Amsterdam. The successful candidate will join their top performing Private Equity team. You will grow a permanent desk placing C‑Suite candidates into clients across the Netherlands. The business has a well‑established client base, comprising some of the world’s leading Finance brands, therefore the successful candidate will be required to maintain existing client relationships whilst confidently approaching prospective clients to bring on new business.

The successful candidate will be a hands‑on 360 recruiter, managing the full recruitment process – sourcing high calibre candidates, market mapping, business development, outreach to new clients and candidates, whilst managing the interview and offer stages.

• Minimum 1 year’s 360 agency recruitment experience within any professional service sector
• Languages – Must be bilingual English & Dutch
• Exceptional communication skills. Must be articulate and capable speaking to C level profiles
• Confident expertly networking with global candidates and clients
• Ability to be self‑motivated and work autonomously – our client does not enforce KPIs or micromanagement
