Job summary

Robin Radar is a technology leader in tracking and classifying small objects. Our QA Specialist owns quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of radar systems, partnering with Operations, Engineering, Procurement and Service to develop quality plans and drive corrective action.

The role reports to the Operational Excellence Manager and ensures successful testing, CTQ alignment, supplier audits, and defect tracking before final production handover.

Qualifications

• University degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in quality assurance, auditing, or quality control within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and QMS governance.
• Lean strategies, ideally with Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
• Proficient with quality management systems and data analysis tools for data-driven decisions.
• Proven project management skills and structured analytical thinking.
• Fluent English, basic Dutch is a plus.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across diverse backgrounds.
• Proactive team player with internal and external collaboration experience.
• Leadership in organizing risk assessment management and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Quality planning and QMS governance across SOPs and QCPs.
• Lead cross-department and supplier quality improvement using 8D, DMAIC, 5 Whys, and FMEA.
• Oversee testing, calibration, and data integrity for radar systems.
• Align CTQ during design and procurement reviews and supplier releases.
• Manage supplier qualification, audits, and incoming goods inspection.
• Develop metrics to measure defects, failure rates, and product maturity.
