Job summary

Robin Radar seeks a Team Lead Electronics Engineering to guide a skilled team responsible for the electronics powering our radar systems. You will steer design direction, drive high‑quality PCB layouts in Altium, and ensure compliance with IPC and EMC standards while coordinating with cross‑functional partners.

You will mentor engineers, manage resources, and help scale our hardware capabilities from development through production, with occasional travel to project sites and external partners.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years hands-on PCB hardware design experience.
• Proven experience leading or coaching a technical team.
• Deep knowledge of RF circuits, FPGAs, high-speed interfaces, and digital design.
• Strong experience with EMC regulations and IPC standards.
• Hands-on with Altium Designer and test equipment (VNAs, oscilloscopes).
• EM knowledge is a plus.
• Attention to detail, leadership balance with hands-on work.
• Fluent English, cross-cultural communication.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project or partner sites.

Responsibilities

• Team leadership and coaching of engineers on daily work and projects.
• Define technical direction and team standards; lead design projects and improvements across electrical, optical, and thermal control; present designs and reviews.
• Allocate resources, assign tasks, and manage schedules.
• PCB layout creation using Altium Designer; guide RF/analog, digital, and high-speed interfaces decisions.
• Oversee testing, simulations, and design verification; document findings before release to production.
• Maintain design files, test reports, and specifications; ensure IPC and EMC compliance.
• Identify operational improvements and balance value against resources; manage contractor POs/timesheets; collaborate with suppliers and EMS partners.
