Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior technical leader to own the Insurance Platform team's end-to-end delivery and health. You will translate product demands into scalable capabilities across countries and product lines while driving platform abstractions and collaborations with Claims and Activation teams.

You will apply domain-driven design and service-oriented architecture principles, leverage TypeScript and AWS, and contribute to AI-enabled daily work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building complex web applications and services.
• Experience maintaining and evolving systems you designed yourself.
• Ownership and impact instinct, including cross-domain work.
• Ability to leverage AI effectively in daily work and articulate outcomes.
• Strong fundamentals in domain-driven design and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with TypeScript, AWS, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with B2B products in insurance/fintech a plus.
• Experience with multi-country product distributions a plus.
• Strong observability fundamentals a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take technical leadership within the Insurance Platform team.
• Own the team’s end-to-end delivery and operational health.
• Turn new product demands into scalable platform capabilities across countries and insurance product lines.
• Challenge existing ideas and contribute new approaches.
• Build reusable platform abstractions for new countries and insurance products.
• Support policy lifecycle management, including mid-term adjustments, automated renewals, cancellations, and payment flows.
• Develop and support backoffice tooling for operations and support teams.
• Work closely with Claims and Activation teams.
