Job summary

Insify in Amsterdam is seeking a Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience to own the SME insurance products. You will work across the full stack on the GRID platform, shipping practical insurance solutions quickly and reliably.

You will collaborate with Insurance, Operations, and Product to translate complex coverage requirements into robust software, while applying AI in coding and tooling to move faster and scale across Europe.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
Experience shipping customer-facing products with strong UX.
Ability to read a carrier spec or regulatory requirement and turn it into a system design.
Ownership mindset and strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.
Curiosity about insurance as a domain and willingness to use AI in tooling.

Responsibilities

Build and extend customer-facing insurance products covering SME risks.
Work on GRID platform and integrations to make launches a configuration exercise.
Own features across the full stack from frontend to backend pricing and policy logic.
Ship products into new markets across Europe, handling localisation and regulatory needs.
Collaborate with Insurance and Operations to translate coverage requirements into software.
Maintain high accuracy and auditability as products impact real businesses.
