Job summary

TRIUS House of Engineering in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to develop and manage project plans, budgets and forecasts, and to lead multidisciplinary teams across maritime projects.

You will coordinate maritime operations, liaise with stakeholders, manage subcontractors and suppliers, identify risks, and pursue commercial opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships and guiding tender input for future projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, preferably in Mechanical or Offshore Engineering, Maritime Studies or similar.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Senior Project Engineer in a similar role.
• Experience in managing complex technical projects.
• Knowledge of engineering processes and collaboration with subcontractors.
• Experience with contract management and risk management.
• Familiarity with international offshore regulations and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and financial forecasts based on the contract.
• Structure project activities and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Coordinate maritime operations and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and support project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Identify, mitigate, and elevate project risks when necessary.
• Recognize commercial opportunities and optimization possibilities within projects.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure clear and effective project communication.
• Deliver input for tendering for future projects.
• Report to management.
