Job summary

Multi.engineering seeks a Senior Marine Engineer to lead the complete engineering process for naval and complex maritime projects in the Netherlands. You will develop and integrate marine systems, coordinating interfaces, suppliers and verification activities in an international, English-speaking, hybrid environment.

You will work with mechanical, electrical, structural and control engineers, ensuring compliance with class rules and maritime regulations.

Qualifications

• Background in marine engineering, mechanical engineering or naval architecture.
• Experience with marine auxiliary systems and ship outfitting.
• Ability to work in an international English-speaking environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and detailed designs for fuel, cooling, HVAC, compressed-air, exhaust-gas, seawater and firefighting systems.
• Translate contractual, operational and client requirements into system designs and specifications.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, calculations and engineering deliverables.
• Manage interfaces across mechanical, electrical, structural and control domains.
• Coordinate verification, validation and testing activities including design reviews and sea trials.
• Coach junior and medior engineers and monitor project risks.
