Job summary

U-People in the Netherlands is seeking a Technical Project Manager to coordinate complex automation projects for maritime applications, including naval vessels. This permanent, long-term role sits in South Holland and involves leading a small engineering team and interfacing with clients and suppliers.

You will translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions, manage planning, resources, and deliverables, and guide Software and System Engineers through the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in automation engineering.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams, managing technical deliverables.
• Solid understanding of automation systems, control engineering, software integration, PLC/SCADA.
• Good command of English; Dutch nationality or EU citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate automation engineering activities within complex maritime projects.
• Manage project planning, technical progress, resources, budgets and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to System and Software Engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders.
• Translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
