Booking.com is seeking a Senior Business Controller to drive FP&A, strategic planning and cross-functional business partnering from our Amsterdam HQ. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning, delivering actionable insights to shape decisions and support transformation projects.

You will partner with senior leaders to optimise costs, automate reporting, and elevate finance's role in strategic decision making. This is a high-visibility role in a globally diverse tech company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive FP&A / Business Control experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/RC/CIMA/CMA or studies are plus.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong ability to partner with demanding stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Works mostly autonomously with limited guidance; begins to review the work of others.
• Advise and influence senior stakeholders by providing strategic input and shaping decisions.
• Lead the development and execution of financial planning processes: budgets, forecasts, long-term plans.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks.
• Collaborate to identify drivers of financial success and develop KPIs.
• Present analyses to senior partners and tailor communications for Directors/VPs.
• Initiate and oversee cross-functional process or tooling improvements and automation.
• Lead deliverables with medium-to-high impact across teams and units.
• Work with autonomy and review colleagues’ work for accuracy.
• Own large cross-functional projects advancing business objectives.
• Collaborate on month-end close to report results with commentary.
• Contribute to FP&A Craft community and promote best practices.
