Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a division of Element Solutions Inc., seeks a Technical Service Engineer to provide hands-on technical support to key customers. You will troubleshoot, advise on product applications, and deliver on-site trials and training to drive customer success and product adoption.

The role requires strong knowledge of specialty chemicals, excellent communication, and the ability to work across R&D, manufacturing and sales teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of specialty chemicals, formulations and application processes.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking with a data-driven approach.
• Clear and effective communication with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage technical projects and trials from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to key customers, including troubleshooting and product recommendations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on product portfolio and applications in customer processes.
• Conduct on-site field visits to support product trials, installations and performance evaluations.
• Diagnose technical issues and collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to deliver solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations and training sessions for customers and internal teams.
• Collect and analyze performance data to optimize product usage and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to develop tailored solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports on trials, findings and recommendations.
