Job summary

Drees & Sommer Netherlands seeks an experienced construction leader to manage EPCM projects for high-tech facilities. The role requires hands-on leadership, ownership of schedule, cost, quality and safety, and strong client interface on-site.

The position offers an international scope with travel to Germany and Europe, along with opportunities for professional development and flexible work arrangements including part-time or remote elements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Building Services Engineering, Architecture or comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience in senior construction management roles within EPCM industrial or high-tech projects.
• Solid understanding of international contract standards (FIDIC, RIBA, HOA, AHO, VOB) and risk management methods.
• Fluent in English; German, Dutch or French is a strong advantage.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
• Full flexibility and willingness to travel and work on international construction sites in Germany and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing construction management for the execution and commissioning of a highly complex semiconductor manufacturing facility.
• Full responsibility for schedule, cost, quality and HSE performance during construction, installation and commissioning phases.
• Compliance with local legal requirements including building and construction regulations and occupational safety regulations.
• Leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
• Resource and capacity planning to achieve project objectives.
• Regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders and interface for the client on-site.
• Continuous improvement of site processes, workflows and safety culture.
