Job summary

Oikotechno Japan Co., Ltd in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Desktop Systems Administrator to support our enterprise infrastructure on-site. You will manage client compute devices, operating systems, and mobile platforms across locations, ensuring reliability and security.

The role requires hands-on experience with AD, GPO, JAMF Pro, Intune, MECM, and OS deployment, plus strong problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of desktop systems administration in a large-scale enterprise.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and be proactive.
• Experience with client packaging and deployment across Windows, macOS, Linux (SCCM/Intune/JAMF).
• Familiarity with ITAM tools and inventory practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certs: CompTIA A+, MCSE Modern Desktop, JAMF, Cisco CCNA Collaboration.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Intune, MECM, or JAMF Pro.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level support for client compute devices in a large enterprise.
• Manage and troubleshoot WAN/LAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and Active Directory.
• Deploy, configure, and support Windows, macOS, and Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
• Validate GPO/RSoP and JAMF profiles on endpoints.
• Manage user accounts and AD directory maintenance.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps and productivity suite (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange).
• Configure, deploy, and support mobile devices via MDM.
• Support videoconferencing and Cisco room systems.
• Participate in IT security incident response and remediation.
• Plan relocations and site migrations.
• Collaborate with IT security on endpoint hardening.
• Drive EUC improvements, automation, and service delivery.
