Job summary

IQVIA LLC seeks a Lead Data Engineer to drive the design and delivery of a scalable data platform, overseeing pipelines and warehouse layers. You will standardize patterns, reduce overhead, and ensure reliability while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to raise engineering standards.

You will mentor data engineers, lead architectural decisions, and contribute to the broader analytics ecosystem, including integration with ML pipelines.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in Python development and building production-grade data solutions.
• Proven track record designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines with modern orchestration tools.
• Experience with dbt, Databricks, and enterprise RDBMS like SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of the data platform (pipelines + warehouse).
• Standardise patterns, reduce overhead, and improve maintainability and reliability.
• Coordinate with Product and Engineering to refine requirements and prioritize backlog.
• Raise engineering standards through reviews, quality practices, and QA collaboration.
• Collaborate with AI/ML leads to integrate data components with the product ecosystem.
• Lead the data engineering team and mentor engineers.
