Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Lead Data Engineer for the Patient Finder team in Europe. You will drive the data platform's end-to-end design, mentoring engineers and aligning data pipelines with product goals.

The role emphasizes scalable architectures, code quality, and collaboration across product, engineering and AI/ML initiatives. Based in Europe with the option for hybrid work, you will influence platform evolution, implement best practices, and help deliver robust data capabilities for healthcare

Qualifications

Hands-on Python development focused on scalable, production-grade solutions.
Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines with orchestration (Airflow/Prefect).
Advanced SQL skills with enterprise RDBMS like SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design and delivery of the data platform (pipelines + warehouse).
Standardise patterns to reduce operational overhead and improve reliability.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to refine requirements and priorities.
Mentor data engineers and own work intake and prioritisation.
Improve tests, quality practices, and AI-assisted engineering.
