Job summary

Super Micro Computer is actively seeking a (Sr.) Project Manager to lead onsite server rack installation projects from pre-sales to deployment. You will work with Engineering, Sales, and extended teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements and delivery plans are executable.

The role requires traveling to customer data centers, coordinating with suppliers, and providing regular status updates while maintaining adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required in civil, computer, or electrical engineering.
• 8+ years of project management experience in data center/server rack deployments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, travel-ready.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and FAE teams to define customer requirements and project scopes for onsite server rack installations.
• Develop design proposals and delivery plans for onsite server rack deployments.
• Coordinate with purchasing to prepare materials for customer projects.
• Work with integration and production teams to align prototyping and mass production timelines.
• Provide status reports to stakeholders and lead customer meetings on project timelines.
• Ensure installation processes meet industry standards and optimize rack deployment efficiency.
• Document installation diagrams, configurations, and post-installation recommendations.
