Job Summary

The Senior Rack Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of server rack integration operations. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the seamless integration of server racks in accordance with organizational goals and quality standards. The Senior Rack Production Manager will play a critical role in driving efficiency, productivity, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the production process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to optimize their performance and foster a positive work environment
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development
• Develop comprehensive production plans and schedules, taking into account customer demands, resource availability, and production capacity
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, such as engineering, procurement, and quality control, to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize productivity and efficiency
• Oversee the integration process of server racks, including hardware installation, cable management, and configuration
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper alignment of components, compatibility, and adherence to design specifications
• Monitor project budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization to achieve profitability targets
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and increase overall operational efficiency
• Monitor vendor performance, conduct periodic evaluations, and address any issues or concerns that may arise
• Implement quality control procedures and inspections at various stages of production
• Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact on production operations
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to senior management for strategic decision‑making
• Stay updated with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices related to server rack integration.
• Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders regarding project status, progress, and any potential issues or delays
• Monitor customer feedback and implement measures to enhance customer satisfaction and product quality

Qualifications

• In‑depth knowledge of server rack integration processes, hardware installation, and cabling
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
• Solid understanding of quality control principles and experience implementing quality management systems
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in using production management software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
