Job summary

Supermicro’s Netherlands branch in ’s-Hertogenbosch seeks a Datacenter Solution Engineer to join the Global Service Installation Team. You will perform rack and stack, cabling and networking of data center hardware and provide technical support for installed equipment at customer sites.

You will collaborate with engineering to ensure proper hardware integration, report to the Solutions manager, and be willing to travel internationally and locally, including occasional extended hours and weekend

Qualifications

5 years experience servicing complex X86 datacenter systems.
Bachelor’s degree or Dutch MBO4 in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering or comparable level obtained through experience.
Fluent English; Dutch would be a plus.
Good understanding of Windows & Linux environments.
Scripting knowledge with Bash, Python, or PHP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform rack and stack, cabling and networking of data center hardware.
Assist and support the implementation of server, storage and network equipment.
Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure seamless hardware integration.
Provide first-line technical support to end users via telephone, email and ticketing system.
Be willing to travel internationally and locally to customer sites, including occasional extended hours and weekend work.
