Job summary

Cloudflare in Amsterdam, NL and London, UK seeks a Senior Customer Engineer to drive the technical go-to-market and serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients. You will bridge technical strategy and business value from pre-sales validation through onboarding, deployment architecture, and full lifecycle expansion.

You will own the customer journey, design migration blueprints, and partner with Account Executives to ensure rapid time-to-value, strong platform adoption, and revenue growth

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Travel up to 20-50% to attend customer meetings, conferences, industry events, and in-person team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Technical Validation: Lead technical deep-dive discovery, capture business requirements, and map customer infra to Cloudflare architectures. Define tests and PoCs; deliver tailored presentations and diagrams; address objections during sales cycles.
• Customer Adoption & Value Realization: Oversee onboarding and implementation as the main engineering contact; design migration blueprints and provide guidance for DNS migrations, Zero Trust rollouts, and WAF tuning.
• Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Carry a quota tied to new business and account growth; ensure platform adoption and identify cross-sell opportunities; lead QBRs with executives.
• Trusted Advisory: Maintain ongoing relationships with stakeholders across onboarding to renewal; provide architectural guidance and deployment confidence.
• AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Use AI agents and LLMs to automate responses, provisioning, telemetry, and documentation; free time for strategic advisory.
• Education & Enablement: Work with Enablement Team to create resources and guides for internal teams and customers.
