Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd. is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the planning and project controls function for our Data Centre projects in the Netherlands.

You will develop baseline programmes, monitor progress, manage risks, and report to senior management and the Board, ensuring consistency across pre-construction and site phases. The role requires strong leadership and hands-on planning expertise for complex construction programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Project Management.
• Certification or training in planning software (e.g., ASTA Powerproject).
• Experience with NEC/JCT contract frameworks.
• Experience in live project planning and programme management.
• Ability to mentor junior planners.

Responsibilities

• Lead baseline programme development across design, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Prepare target programmes to identify improvements over contracts.
• Maintain programme documentation within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Produce 4D/2D planning models to illustrate build sequence and logistics.
• Manage tracking of subcontractor programmes and variances.
• Provide monthly and weekly programme updates to management.
• Mentor and develop assistant and graduate planners.
