Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of a Data Centre project. You will work with the Contracts Manager and project team to maximise value, manage risk and ensure robust commercial performance.

Responsibilities include procurement, final accounts, contract advice on NEC and JCT forms, and coaching junior staff across traditional and design-build contracts on projects up to €15m.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Training in commercial management, dispute resolution and contract law.
• Leadership, delegation, presentation and communication skills.
• Behavioural-based safety and risk management training.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial strategy for the project and adapt it with the Managing Quantity Surveyor.
• Lead procurement activities including tenders, subcontract selection and final accounts.
• Prepare forecasts, cash flow projections and valuations; manage variations with records.
• Provide commercial guidance on NEC and JCT forms and draft contractual correspondence.
• Mentor junior commercial staff and support performance reviews.
