Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the planning and project controls function within our Data Centre team in the Netherlands. You will develop baseline programmes, monitor progress, manage risks, and provide reporting to senior management and the Board.

Essential experience includes advanced planning software (ASTA Powerproject), strong contract knowledge (NEC, JCT), and the ability to mentor junior planners.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Certification or training in planning software (e.g., ASTA Powerproject).
• Proven experience leading planning on live construction projects; advanced planning software knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contract frameworks.
• Excellent IT skills and experience in collaborative digital environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead baseline contracts programmes across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Prepare tender event programmes for subcontractor procurement.
• Maintain programme documentation within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Produce 4D/2D models to illustrate build sequence and logistics.
• Identify risks and opportunities and apply mitigation measures.
• Support development of construction methodologies with sequencing insights.
• Oversee staffing, logistics, and temporary works in preliminaries.
• Engage with supply chain for inputs like design deliverables and lead-in times.
• Lead programme reporting to management and conduct monthly reviews.
