Job summary

John Sisk & Son in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of data centre projects, working with the Contracts Manager and project team to maximise commercial returns and manage risks.

You will lead procurement, manage cash flow, variations and final accounts, and ensure NEC/JCT contract compliance across multiple phases.

Mentor junior commercial staff and drive continuous improvement, safety and quality across high-value design-and-build projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Training in commercial management, dispute resolution and contract law.
• Leadership, delegation, presentation and communication skills training.
• Behavioural-based safety and risk management training.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial strategy for the project.
• Represent the company in commercial and contractual matters.
• Lead procurement activities from tenders to final account.
• Prepare financial forecasts, cash flow projections and valuations.
• Manage variations and produce final accounts.
• Ensure compliance across NEC/JCT contracts.
• Mentor junior commercial staff and support development.
