Job summary

John Sisk & Son is seeking a Planner for Amsterdam to join our Data Centre team. You will develop and monitor programmes across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and compliance with contracts.

You will manage baseline programmes, 4D/2D phasing and provide robust reporting. You will work with project managers, engineers and commercial teams, highlighting risks and opportunities, mentoring juniors and leading weekly/monthly status

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning within large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of contract management principles and frameworks.
• Proficiency with planning software, especially Asta Powerproject.
• Excellent IT literacy for digital planning and reporting.
• Ability to interpret complex project data and identify risks.
• Clear communication and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of baseline programmes with clear critical paths.
• Prepare target programmes and tender event schedules.
• Maintain programme documentation in a CDE.
• Create 4D/2D phasing to illustrate sequences and logistics.
• Support project teams with risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Coordinate weekly/monthly progress reporting to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior planners and contribute to performance reviews.
