Job summary
Jobgether is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer, AI Platform, based in the Netherlands or Europe-wide, to build AI-powered backend services for a leading SaaS platform. You will work on APIs, AI orchestration, and integration across product teams in a fully remote setup for the EMEA region.
You will design scalable backend systems, evolve the AI integration stack, and ensure production reliability while collaborating across frontend, platform, and integration teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience in SaaS.
- Strong Python proficiency and production-grade backend experience.
- Experience with REST APIs and SaaS integrations.
- Familiarity with LLM/AI tools such as LangChain and MCP servers.
- Ability to bridge Python AI services with other stacks.
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services that integrate AI into customer features.
- Develop scalable APIs and backend services for SaaS workflows.
- Collaborate with product/design to create AI-driven experiences.
- Embed AI capabilities into existing systems and workflows.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and reliability for AI services.
