Job summary

Jobgether’s partner seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer based in the Netherlands. You will own complex reliability and platform challenges in a fully remote capacity, shaping architecture and long-term reliability strategy.

Expect ownership of Kubernetes, cloud infra, IaC, observability, CI/CD, and AI-driven workflows to boost productivity and safety. You will mentor engineers, drive SLOs/alerts, and collaborate asynchronously across a global org, while maintaining strong on-call readiness

Qualifications

• Solid SRE/DevOps experience with Kubernetes in production.
• Production cloud infra experience on AWS or comparable platform.
• Terraform and IaC fundamentals with observability tooling.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with OpenTelemetry, Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring.
• Proven ability to work asynchronously in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex reliability and infrastructure initiatives from design to delivery.
• Define and operate SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, alerts and observability standards.
• Scale production Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure with reliability at heart.
• Develop infrastructure as code and automated deployment workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across cultures and time zones.
• Apply AI-enabled workflows to improve productivity and reliability.
