Job summary

Hypersolid Amsterdam is seeking a lead/senior designer to fuse classical craft with AI-native approaches. You will sit with product designers and art directors to elevate visual and craft across experiences, balancing human judgment with machine-assisted speed.

The role emphasizes prototyping toward working artifacts, tokenized design systems, and Git-based workflows, with a strong focus on motion, typography and design leadership. On-site hybrid work, Amsterdam studio on Oostelijke Handelskade.

Qualifications

• At least five years of agency or studio experience as a visual or product designer.
• Portfolio demonstrates classical design sensibility and strong digital craft.
• Ability to carry a visual direction through a complete experience and across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own visual and motion craft across high-impact projects including art direction, UI, typography.
• Collaborate with Design Director to raise design quality and processes.
• Help shape AI-native, spec-driven design workflows and tokenized design systems.
• Present and defend creative direction to senior stakeholders and clients.
