Job summary

DEPT® is seeking a Senior Visual Designer in Amsterdam, hybrid. You will lead visual design for flagship campaigns and e-commerce, collaborating with UX and design leads, and autonomously delivering high-fidelity work.

The role demands elite visual craft, motion design, interactive prototyping in Figma, and a sharp eye for brand storytelling across paid media, CRM, and web experiences. You will engage with clients, uphold guidelines, and embrace AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Visual Designer or hybrid UI/Motion Designer in a fast-paced environment.
• Elite portfolio showing deep visual design execution, typography, layout and digital craft.
• Demonstrated motion design capabilities with short-form video or interactive assets.
• Hands-on experience creating interactive prototypes (Figma or similar).
• A strong understanding of digital content mapping across paid media, CRM and web experiences.
• Familiarity with tiers of digital assets and their role in the customer journey.

Responsibilities

• Lead, execute, and deliver visual design across high-profile campaigns and flagship e-commerce platforms.
• Own the motion landscape with video, social content, animation and ambient motion.
• Build interactive prototypes to map campaign flows and user interactions.
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure brand storytelling and user journeys align.
• Present and articulate concepts directly to client stakeholders.
• Navigate brand guidelines and push creative quality where appropriate.
• Integrate AI-enabled tools and new workflows into daily design practice.
• Thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative agency matrix and own final delivery.
